On Friday, 26th April 2019, my husband, sons and I headed to the Museum of Illusions with varied expectations. I had seen so much of it on Instagram that I knew I wanted to walk out with some cool pictures of all of us. My husband just wanted to explore a new place with us, thankfully a place that did not involve any shopping, eating or running up and down play areas. The kids – well, they just wanted to have loads of fun!
I’ve always been someone who loves my sleep, but lately I realized that I had trouble falling asleep at night. I have to be up by 5.30 am on most days to send my sons to school, but there are days when I cannot fall asleep till 1.30am! I do not take an afternoon nap on most days (thanks to my boys, but trust me, sleep is the only thing on my mind between 3-4pm) and I do not exceed 2 cups of coffee on any given day. As a result of sleeping late, I find it really tough to be able to get up and stay awake in the morning and it has started affecting my immunity and mental health.
Recently, I attended a PCOS Support group and while discussing some common PCOS symptoms I realized that Insomnia, or not being able to fall asleep easily, is actually very common in a lot of women with PCOS!

W R I T E –
My #onelittleword for 2019. For many reasons.
Do you agree that Back to School shopping is as much fun for mums, as it for the kids?
Yes, going to the malls, braving the traffic and parking issues, not forgetting the strollers and the tantrums is NOT fun! But being able to shop from the comfort of your home, in your pyjamas, with a coffee mug in hand… Now that can be fun!
