I guess it’s too late to be doing a Halloween craft post, but this is something we tried today (Halloween day) afternoon. If you do not wish to do a pumpkin, the mosaic pattern can work with any other shape or theme.
Materials you will need:
White card paper
4-5 sheets of different colored papers
Black paper
Pencil
Scissors
Paper glue
Step 1 : Draw a pumpkin on the white card paper.
Step 2 : Cut small squares from the different colored papers.
Step 3 : Cut out eyes and mouth from the black paper. You will need two triangles for the eyes and a zigzag smile (as shown) for the mouth.
Step 4 : Apply glue on the pumpkin shape and stick the colored squares in random order. Try to cover as much white space as possible.
Step 5 : Using more glue, stick the eyes and mouth.
Your mosaic pumpkin is ready. 🎃
