It’s Spring break! The kids are home on a break from school. How often do you hear the words “I’m bored!”? It’s strange how the kids have a house full of toys and games but they never seem to have anything to do. I decided to make an activity jar for them, with the names of all their toys and activity ideas. They would have to pick one anytime they were bored and then do that activity.
Keeping with our crafty tradition, we decided to decorate the jar on the outside ourselves.
We used Washi tape and some decorative origami paper to decorate the jar. For the ideas, we used popsicle sticks and I simply wrote various activities on them. We had the option to decorate the sticks with different washi tapes too, but I decided to keep it simple this time.
The kids are already in love with the Activity jar and the decorating options, as well as, the activity ideas are endless.
Will you be trying this at home with your kids?
