W R I T E –
My #onelittleword for 2019. For many reasons.
Initially, I thought I really need FOCUS in my life, so should choose that for 2019. I really need Focus on my life at the moment as I spent most of 2018 in a no-man’s land kind of head space.
I used to be good at multi-tasking at one point in my life, but lately, juggling between the kids, my business, home, husband, parents, in-laws, family, friends, social media and my creative projects left me overwhelmed and with a feeling of not being able to achieve anything. I realized I need to focus at the task in hand rather than try to be everywhere at the same time.
But, I realized that my problem is that I keep all my thoughts and my to-do’s in my head. I need to WRITE it all down. I need Organization in my life. And a pen and paper seem like the best place to start. Not just my tasks, but even my goals and my achievements, need to be in black and white, to help clear some head space.
Another reason I chose WRITE, is because I started blogging as I liked to write my thoughts down on my blog, and I did not do any of that in 2018. My blog was highly ignored and I intend to change that this year!
Third and final reason for WRITE, to practice some brush lettering to help de-stress me and to keep my artistic self happy.
One Little Word is originally a concept of Ali Edwards from Oregon, USA since 2006, who explains the concept very simply as “A single word can be a powerful thing.” (https://aliedwards.com/one-little-word)
